ONLINE SHOP: Nearly all items sold through this website are antique and as such please expect to see some signs of age and use consistent with age and use. This said, you will find that most of my stock is in excellent condition and I tend not to sell anything with significant defects. I try to provide an honest account of condition in the item’s description, flagging up any significant faults. If you do have any questions, please feel free to ask prior to purchase, using the online contact form or by emailing me at james@cool-antiques.co.uk. When you make a purchase, you will receive a full invoice and tracking information for your item. Items are normally dispatched within 3 days, except for large items requiring a courier.

REFUNDS: In the unlikely event of misdescription or an item being lost or damaged in transit a refund may be requested. Requests for refunds must be made within 14 days of receipt of the item. Refunds will only be issued through PayPal to the account through which the item was purchased, and will be issued only upon safe receipt of the returned item. Tracking must be provided for items that are returned and postage costs will be met by the buyer. In the unlikely event of an item being damaged in transit please notify me immediately, supplying images of the damaged item and the associated packaging. Please be assured that every effort is made to protect items in transit through the generous use of bubble wrap, polystyrene loose fill and double wall boxes. Damage is extremely rare.

CANCELLATION: If you wish to cancel your purchase, you may do so by emailing me at james@cool-antiques.co.uk, before the item has been dispatched. A full refund will be issued. In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, you also have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days of receiving your item. This provides an added layer of assurance for buyers where there has been no face-to-face contact or opportunity to examine the goods before buying. Note that items must be returned in exactly the same condition that they were received. The cost of sending the item back will be met by the buyer.
