This Victorian adjustable photographic studio stand is equipped with a heavy duty worm gear for height adjustment, giving a working height from 92cm to 120cm, and stands on its original castors. The platform measures 33cm x 30cm wide. Condition: This item survives in good condition with some wear and tear including numerous scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use, and some fading/discoloration to the top platform - all as shown in the images. The woodwork retains its original French Polish finish. The cast iron components are in good condition and the worm gear operates correctly, holding its height even without use of the heavy duty lock screw to the side. All three castors are present and look to be original.
