A rare and collectable German anatomical wax model of a dissected human head by Lehrmittewerke of Berlin, showing nerves, arteries, veins and muscles of the head with paper numbered labels, contained in an ebonised and glazed case with two makers labels to the reverse, one marked 'Lehrmittelwerke Berlinische Verlagsanstalt G.m.b.H. BERLIN N.W.23' and the other 'Wachspraparat Vor Sonnenstrablen und Grosser, Hitze Schutzen!' (in English: Wax preparation - Protect from sun rays and great heat!).

25cm x 19 cm. (10" x 7½")

Condition: Wax model in excellent condition. Ebonised case in very good condition with only very minor scuffs and scratches. Glass in excellent condition.
