A rare late 19th Century anatomical wall chart depicting the human skeleton, marked ‘Schreiber’s Anatomische Wandtafeln’. It is from the workshop of Ferdinand Schreiber, whose Munich-based publishing house was established in 1831. It is printed onto heavy canvas-backed paper with a fold in the centre for storage. 57cm x 152cm.

Condition: Excellent original condition with minimal fading, original wooden poles to top and bottom, and without tears. Creases throughout. Marked in writing to the reverse “Das Knochengerust”, meaning “The Skeleton”.
